Songkran Celebrations at Soneva Kiri Join the Songkran Long Drum Parade as it makes its way from The View to South Beach. Make a splash on the sand with fun water games, then mix and mingle over cocktails, mocktails and canapés at So Social as the sun sets over the horizon. In the evening, take a culinary voyage around five of Thailand’s unique regional cuisines. Easter at Soneva Kiri Start Easter Sunday with a sumptuous brunch at the Dining Room, then join the hunt for wooden Easter eggs around the resort – the more you find, the more you can exchange for yummy chocolate treats! Spend a long, lazy day at Koh Rang’s picturesque Blue Lagoon on a Seven Days, Seven Beaches tour. Head to The Dining Room to continue the seasonal celebrations as night falls, with a family Easter Journey of gastronomic delights. Seven Days, Seven Beaches Set sail from Soneva Kiri to discover some of Thailand’s most breath-taking beaches. This experience will take you to seven of these unforgettable hidden gems, just a short cruise away yet far from the usual tourist trail. Step aboard a traditional wooden fishing boat to explore secluded coves, fringed by swaying palms, crystal-clear lagoons and the purest white sands. When the boat anchors, it transforms into your own private beach club: snorkel the azure depths, swim ashore to sunbathe, kayak or paddle board along the coastline, and enjoy a sumptuous barbecue lunch, freshly prepared on board. Treepod Dining A true bucketlist experience, dine high in the treetops of Koh Kood's ancient rainforest with exceptional views across the Gulf of Thailand. Open for breakfast, dim sum and high tea, a menu of gourmet delights is delivered in style by a personal ziplining waiter. Mushroom Cave Lunch Experience lunch in a natural cave after picking mushrooms grown in our Mushroom Hut. Our chef will prepare a five-course meal for you, with mushrooms being the highlight of each dish, even dessert! Dinner at The View and Kruua Mae Tuk Take in the stunning view out across the Gulf of Thailand while experiencing Nikkei cuisine, a fusion of flavours from Japan and Peru. Chef Christophe effortlessly blends the delicacy and nuance of Japanese culinary traditions with the vibrant and zesty flavours of Peru. At Kruua Mae Tuk, delight your palate with local Thai cuisine made using ingredients grown on Koh Kood and neighbouring islands, as well as seafood caught fresh from the seas around our island. Dinner at Colours of the Garden Go on a tour of Soneva Kiri’s expansive organic gardens as your chef takes you through interesting herbs, vegetables and fruits. Dine on a plant-based and set menu that highlights the flavours of Thai and Mexican cuisine. At the end of the dinner, join our Medicinal Mixology class to learn from our Botanical Bartender, before turning your gaze to the night sky for some stargazing. Dinner at Down to Earth Enjoy traditional Northern Indian Frontier cuisine with a touch of Middle Eastern influences at the Living Room. Hear tales of how the dishes come from the old days of Indian Maharajas and Maharanis while dining on delicacies fresh from the hot tandoor oven. |
Asian Street Market Journey Stroll through our numerous live cooking stations set up to look like a typical Asian street food market. Sample appetisers, mains and desserts inspired by the rich culinary heritage of Asia. Pop-Up Dinners Discover the flavours and delicacies from Italy, the Middle East, Mexico and India with our dedicated pop-up dinners throughout February. Wine Tastings Join our Sommelier K. O for an evening of carefully selected vintages from the New and Old World. The tastings can be paired with cold cuts and cheese to make them even more indulgent. Koh Raet and Solar Reef Snorkelling The sculpture garden of Koh Raet’s southern tip is one of the most unique dive sites around Koh Kood. Koh Raet, a small island just west of Koh Kood is home to several artificial reef projects. The sculpture garden assembles several animal sculptures placed in an area of powder white sand. However, the nearby natural reef is a true highlight just by itself with lots of dense, cavernous coral structures. Koh Rang Snorkelling A fantastic day out for all who love the sea, enjoy snorkelling the pristine coral reefs and a castaway beach experience. It takes approximately 40 minutes to get to Koh Rang Yai National Marine Park, where the coral reefs are home to rich and abundant marine life. Your snorkelling guide will brief you, including entry and exit guidelines, swimming techniques, the site description and what marine life you can expect to see. Shared Fishing Adventure Try fishing the Thai way! These trips run both during the day and at night; the evening trip lets you admire the stars and catch fish or squid. A fishing boat will take you to the best fishing areas around Koh Kood, Koh Raet or Koh Mai Si with local fisherman. On returning to the resort, arrangements can be made with our Executive Chef to prepare your catch for dinner. Sunset Cruise Enjoy the most romantic way to celebrate the passing of yet another day in paradise, as you sip wine and nibble on gourmet canapés.
